The Ponderosa Pine Forest of Arizona is a wondrous landscape stretching from Flagstaff to past the White Mountains and is the largest pine forest in North America. These images were taken on one of my many camping trips to the Mogollon Rim and feature desert blooms encased in boulders in a rugged landscape reserved for back packers and outdoor enthusiasts. You'll find Boulders on the Hill 04 which is a 360 degree image of a mountainous growth of pines and boulders, just north of Christopher Creek Arizona. In Boulders on the Hill 05B you'll notice another 360 degree view of a pine forest with light dancing off boulders. In Burnt Tree and Stone 01 you'll find one of my favorite images of a burned tree determined to grow again no matter what – it's amazing how resolute nature really is.
